**Do NOT read this synopsis or review if you haven’t read books 1-6 of the Zodiac Academy series.**

The winds of fate are shifting, and it finally seems like they’ve been twisted in our favour.
On the run and cast out from society, we’ve been forced to hide from the mad man who stole our throne. But as more secrets come to light and my sister and I work harder than ever before to reach our potential and claim our birth right, the end is finally drawing closer.
There is no turning from this path now. The curse chases on our heels as time rushes by and the blood drenched destiny of the man I love looms ever closer just like the monster who stole our throne.
We must prepare for the final battle, but three things are clear now.
The cards have already been dealt.
Blood will spill for a new future to rise.
And the stars themselves can’t help us.
The fight for the throne is upon us. All hail the heartless sky.

My Rating: 4.5 Stars
This series will be the death of me. Honestly, my emotions are so invested at this point that I’m pretty sure I gain new grey hairs every time one of my favorite characters is in danger. Which is often, because Caroline and Susanne enjoy reader tears.
I think my favorite thing about this series is the absolute unpredictability of the plot. Nine times out of ten when I’m reading a book I find myself thinking ahead and trying to figure out what will happen next. With this series though, I just sink into it and enjoy the ride. I’m so attached to these characters and invested in this plot that nothing else even comes to mind.
I can FINALLY say that I love the heirs, and I’m obsessed with the relationships that they’ve developed with the twins – I can’t wait to see where things go. Over the course of books 6&7 Seth went from being my least favorite character to being my favorite, hands down. Seriously, I adore that wolf.
The romance in this series tugs at my heartstrings in a way that few fantasy romance series can manage. I can honestly say that I’m ridiculously invested in every single ship, and I’ve cried over each of them on more than one occasion. Here’s hoping all of my ships sail…
I also really enjoyed seeing glimpses of the characters from the Ruthless Boys series and can’t wait to dive into it once I’m feeling emotionally stable enough to do so. (Right now I’m still far too stressed from the end of ZA7 to read anything but fluffy holiday romance).
I tried to keep this as spoiler free as possible, but I adore this series and absolutely recommend the Zodiac Academy series to anyone with a love of fantasy romance. It has everything you could want: shifters, vampires, Fae, a fight for the throne, bully romance, forbidden romance…Honestly what more could you ask for?
